What the Ethermon EMON Token Means for META Owners
Finally we can break the big news we’ve been holding onto for the last couple months! We’re so happy to announce one of our native MetaZone partners Ethermon is expanding and scaling their game verse to new heights!

The MetaZone and Ethermon teams are working closely together to usher in a new era of token and NFT economics in the metaverse. Many announcements of how we plan to achieve this will be coming soon, starting with a monumental token generation for the Ethermon ecosystem.

The above link explains the introduction process of the new token to the Ethermon ecosystem, and one critical component is airdropping a portion of the total supply to their earliest community supporters. META owners have made the cut and are even being given a bonus allocation if content was actively deployed in the metaverse during the snapshot.
Also all mon holders (exluding form 1 free starters) will be included into the future airdrop allocation, this including the 3D virtual mons that exist in Decentraland purchased through Egg Nest METAs.

More exciting news coming from the Ethermon team is the overwhelming support they’ve managed to gain from over 30 industry leading backers all aligned in expanding the game verse vision they’ve been working so hard to create over the last few years.

With this news comes a whole new era for the Ethermon Game Verse in Decentraland. Already multiple barriers have been broken by the team by proving the metaverse is a viable application layer for game content. Now these efforts can be taken to the next level to truly showcase the power of play-to-earn in Decentraland and beyond.
Now Ethermon has the resources to accelerate gameplay development in Decentraland and for their 2D Web Game. Already many exciting roadmap objectives have been released, showcasing the aggressive dev approach to delivering a fully robust MMO type experience.
To add to this, the Ethermon District release is around the corner which will bring a whole new experience to the metaverse where the digital pet ownership can truly come to life and provide earning opportunities to the NFT owner.
What this means for MetaZone
We’re so proud to see the success of the Ethermon brand and are excited to see new META development as a result. Already more than 600 land owners hold Ethermon content in their inventories and are ready and willing to contribute to the game ecosystem through their hosting abilities, and of course, claim their shares of revenue generated from in-app purchasing.
As of now 3 METAs have been developed laying the base environment needed to bring mons into the world and grow food to feed them. We’ll be releasing many more details in the near future regarding the upcoming content in development to roll out for Decentraland hosting. All together, these METAs and the new District will combine to form the most comprehensive mmo gameplay experience the metaverse has ever seen!
With the introduction of a new token brings in new opportunities for players to earn through their game participation. These new economic benefits will bring in more revenue generating offerings for META owners as the player base will have much greater incentives to grind in the metaverse, further enhancing their game progression and earning potential.
