This week we begin our long awaited series of update articles informing the metaverse community on that latest offerings and developments coming from the MetaZone ecosystem.
Below we will announce NEW Metas that are scheduled to drop next week, as well as highlight a standout creator, and go over some development updates for the platform.

Development / Platform Updates
Every week we will update the community with progress on platform feature development to keep everyone in the loop with the META ecosystem expansion. Below are examples of platform development objectives we are currently either progressing through or have completed over the last few weeks.
MetaZone Branding Refresh
MetaZone has been in operation since early 2020, but now that the platform is expanding into its next phase, a new look and feel will be incorporated to reflect this period of transition. We have designed a new logo to represent the ecosystems goals which is simply to “build the metaverse”. Check out this article for in-depth details about the purpose behind the brand refresh.
Landing Page Revamp
We’ve added a new landing page to metazone.io to act as a better first point of contact for any new user to the ecosystem. We want everyone to easily understand what it is we are building together as a community and how to best involve themselves in it.
Drops Section
Its finally here! The META Drops system is in place and ready to persistently pump out NEW METAs into the ecosystem. Creators have been waiting for this feature to improve efficiencies with content release and to better improve the marketability of the products being offered. We’re excited to see this new engine roll out and for METAs to become realized as the most valuable contribution toward the construction of the open metaverse.
NFT Minting
Part of what is needed to make METAs such a powerful asset class is the ability to mint them as NFTs upon creation. We’re happy to say MetaZone has now enabled this essential tool which will enable all META creators to participate in the booming NFT ecosystem. Upon submission and passing of the META review process, auto minting smart contracts will be deployed for each META that will enable META purchasers to receive Polygon ERC721s, giving them true on-chain ownership of their asset.
Community Spotlight
Our spotlight creator for this week has been VLG Architect, an architect and design studio looking to establish a name for themselves as the premier metaverse creator by offering some of the highest quality builds uploaded to the platform.
We conducted an interview with Nate who leads the efforts for VLG Architect to understand their history and ambitions moving forward.
After speaking with him it is clear the trajectory they are on will lead them to their desired destination, and we’re thrilled they have chosen MetaZone as the platform of choice to enable their creations to come to life.
VLG Architects first META drops will go down on Monday April 11th where they will release the MANA and Breeze Houses.
Weekly Community Call
The week we will begin our first weekly MetaZone community call, be sure to attend as we will be distributing POAP NFTs and giving away one of VLG Architects NFT METAs to a lucky community member in attendance.

What is MetaZone?
METAZONE is a distribution platform for user generated content called METAs (Metaverse Enabled Tokenized Assets); which can be purchased and hosted in the open metaverse. Each META is an NFT that creators can enable with revenue splits. METAs function as installable applications allowing the asset owners to deploy or delegate their content within the metaverse at the click of a few buttons.
